About RGIS-South Georgia
RGIS-SG is located on the grounds of South Georgia Regional Development Center (SGRDC) in Valdosta, Georgia. SGRDC serves 9 rural counties and nearly 30 local governments with Planning, Economic and Workforce Development, and GIS services. The mission of SGRDC is to advise and provide these local governments with the tools that will help their communities to survive and thrive in the challenges of tomorrow.
SGRDC-GIS and RGIS-SG have teamed up to provide these rural governments with geospatial technology services allowing for improved planning efforts, better decision making and more efficient daily operations of local officials in the nine county area and beyond!
